Epilation is the removal of the entire hair, including the part below the skin. Methods include waxing, sugaring, epilation devices, lasers, threading, intense pulsed light or electrology. Hair is also sometimes removed by plucking with tweezers.

In Laser Acupuncture Centre, we employ our high power Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for epilation.

The number of sessions depends on various parameters, including the area of the body treated, skin color, coarseness of hair,etc. Coarse dark hair on light skin is easiest to treat.

We usually conduct some Acupuncture treatment after the session to help speed up the recovery process and reduce the swelling/redness if any.
