What is it?
Frozen Shoulder is a symptom where an individual experiences stiffness,
pain and limited range of movement in his / her shoulder that may be the followed after an injury. The tissues around the joint stiffen, scar tissue forms and shoulder movement become different, difficult and painful.
The Causes?
Frozen Shoulder can develop when you stop using the joint normally
because of pain, injury or a chronic health condition such as diabetes or
arthritis. In fact, any shoulder problem can lead to Frozen Shoulder if you do
not seek treatment and exercise to maintain a full range of motion.
Who is affected?
Frozen Shoulder occurs in people in the age group of 45-70 years old. In general, it affects postmenopausal women and in people with chronic diseases of Hypertension, Diabetes, Cardiovascular and people with sedimentary lifestyle without any form of exercises at all. Men are less likely to be affected.
